## 2. Offline Practice & Quizzes

### 2.1 Offline Quiz Taking
**What it does:** Lets the Student take practice quizzes offline. The Student downloads a quiz, takes it without a connection, and the answers are stored locally. When back online, the quiz results sync and are graded. This lets the Student practice anywhere, even without a connection.

**Sub-features:**
- Download a practice quiz for offline use
- Take a quiz offline
- Answers stored locally while offline
- Quiz results sync when back online
- Grading on sync
- Offline quiz list (downloaded)
- Delete a downloaded quiz
- Quiz event logging (downloaded, taken, synced)
- Audit logging of the offline quiz taking

**Student User Journey:**
1. Student downloads a practice quiz on Trigonometry.
2. Student goes offline and takes the quiz.
3. The answers are stored locally.
4. When back online, the quiz results sync and are graded.
5. The Student sees the score after the sync.
6. The quiz appears in the offline quiz list.
7. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the quiz events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A quiz must be downloaded before it can be taken offline.
- Answers are stored locally while offline.
- Results sync and are graded when back online.
- Deleting a quiz removes it from the device.
- Quiz events (downloaded, taken, synced) are logged with the quiz and the timestamp.
- The offline quiz taking is audit-logged with the account, the quiz, and the timestamp.

### 2.2 Offline Flashcard Study
**What it does:** Lets the Student study flashcard decks offline. The Student downloads a deck, studies it without a connection, and the study session (ratings, mastery) syncs when back online. This supports revision on the go.

**Sub-features:**
- Download a flashcard deck for offline study
- Study a deck offline
- Self-rate recall offline (Again, Good, Easy)
- Study session syncs when back online
- Card mastery updates on sync
- Offline deck list (downloaded)
- Delete a downloaded deck
- Deck event logging (downloaded, studied, synced)
- Audit logging of the offline flashcard study

**Student User Journey:**
1. Student downloads a flashcard deck on the Periodic table.
2. Student goes offline and studies the deck.
3. Student rates each card (Again, Good, Easy).
4. When back online, the study session syncs.
5. The card mastery updates on sync.
6. The deck appears in the offline deck list.
7. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the deck events are recorded.

- Audit logging of the offline exam practice

2. Student goes offline and attempts the paper.
