## 2. Podcast-Style Summaries

### 2.1 Summary Generation
**What it does:** The Super Admin configures the summary generation so AI-generated audio summaries of chapters are produced.

**Sub-features:**
- Generation enablement: the enablement of the summary generation
- Generation source: the source of the summary (chapter)
- Generation status: the status of the generation (pending, complete)
- Generation quality: the quality of the summary
- Generation log: the log of the generations
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of summary generation

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the summary generation.
2. Enable the summary generation and set the source.
3. Generate a summary for a chapter.
4. Review the generation status and log.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A generation enablement turns the summary generation on.
- A generation source is the chapter to summarize.
- A generation status reflects the state (pending, complete).
- A generation quality is the quality of the summary.
- A generation log records the generations.
- A generation without a chapter cannot be created.
- Generation actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 2.2 Chapter Summaries
**What it does:** The Super Admin manages the chapter summaries so the summaries are organized per chapter.

**Sub-features:**
- Summary assignment: the assignment of the summary to a chapter
- Summary listing: the listing of the chapter summaries
- Summary playback: the playback of the chapter summary
- Summary duration: the duration of the summary
- Summary log: the log of the chapter summaries
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of chapter summaries

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the chapter summaries.
2. Assign a summary to a chapter.
3. Play the chapter summary.
4. Review the summary duration and log.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A summary assignment links the summary to a chapter.
- A summary listing shows all chapter summaries.
- A summary playback plays the summary.
- A summary duration is the length of the summary.
- A summary log records the chapter summaries.
- A summary without a chapter cannot be assigned.
- Summary actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 2.3 Playback Speed
**What it does:** The Super Admin configures the playback speed so the summaries can be played at an adjustable speed.

**Sub-features:**
- Speed options: the options of the playback speed
- Speed default: the default of the playback speed
- Speed status: the status of the playback speed
- Speed memory: the memory of the speed per learner
- Speed log: the log of the playback speeds
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of playback speed

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the playback speed.
2. Set the speed options and default.
3. Save the playback speed settings.
4. Review the speed status and log.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A speed option is a playback speed (0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x).
- A speed default is the initial playback speed.
- A speed status reflects the current speed.
- A speed memory stores the speed per learner.
- A speed log records the playback speeds.
- A speed outside the options is not allowed.
- Speed actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

**What it does:** The Super Admin enables the offline download so the summaries can be downloaded for offline listening.

- Download enablement: the enablement of the offline download
- Download format: the format of the download
- Download status: the status of the download (pending, complete)
- Download storage: the storage of the downloads
- Download log: the log of the downloads
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of offline download

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the offline download.
2. Enable the offline download and set the format.
3. Download a summary.
4. Review the download status and log.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A download enablement turns the offline download on.
- A download format is the audio format of the download.
- A download status reflects the state (pending, complete).
- A download storage holds the downloads.
- A download log records the downloads.
- A download without a summary cannot be created.
- Download actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

**What it does:** The Super Admin manages the summary library so the summaries are organized and searchable.

- Library creation: the creation of a summary library
- Library organization: the organization of the library
