## 3. Multi-Currency Management

### 3.1 Multi-Currency Support
**What it does:** Supports the multi-currency: the currencies (the currency, the code, the symbol, the rate) are supported, so the transactions are in multiple currencies (the support is the capability). The Super Administrator configures the multi-currency support (the currency, the code, the symbol, the rate) so the support is structured and the currencies are explicit.

**Sub-features:**
- Currency: the currency (the currency, the code, the symbol)
- Currency code: the code (the code of the currency, e.g., the USD, the ZAR)
- Currency symbol: the symbol (the symbol of the currency, e.g., the $, the R)
- Currency rate: the rate (the rate of the currency, the exchange rate)
- Currency configuration: the configuration (the currency, the code, the symbol, the rate)
- Currency record: the record (the currency, the code, the symbol, the rate, the date)
- Currency view: the view (the currencies, the rates, the period)
- Audit logging of the multi-currency configuration

**Super Administrator User Journey:**
1. Super Admin configures the multi-currency support: the currency (the currency, the code, the symbol), the code (the code of the currency, e.g., the USD, the ZAR), the symbol (the symbol of the currency, e.g., the $, the R), and the rate (the rate of the currency, the exchange rate); the support is explicit.
2. Sets the currency: the currency (the currency, the code, the symbol); the currency is the unit.
3. Sets the currency code: the code (the code of the currency, e.g., the USD, the ZAR); the code is the identifier.
4. Sets the currency symbol: the symbol (the symbol of the currency, e.g., the $, the R); the symbol is the mark.
5. Sets the currency rate: the rate (the rate of the currency, the exchange rate); the rate is the conversion.
6. Saves; the multi-currency support is live, and the transactions are in multiple currencies.
7. For a currency change (the rate updated), Super Admin changes the currency (the new rate, the time); the change is recorded.
8. The multi-currency configuration is audit-logged with the currency, the rate, and the timestamp.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The currency is the unit (the currency, the code, the symbol); the currency is the measure.
- The currency code is the identifier (the code of the currency, e.g., the USD, the ZAR); the code is the reference.
- The currency symbol is the mark (the symbol of the currency, e.g., the $, the R); the symbol is the display.
- A currency change (the rate updated) is recorded (the new rate, the time); it is auditable.
- The currencies are visible (the currencies, the rates, the period); the support is managed.
- Multi-currency configuration is audit-logged with the currency, rate, and timestamp.

### 3.2 Currency Conversion and Settlement
**What it does:** Handles the currency conversion and settlement: the conversion of the currencies (the conversion, the from-currency, the to-currency, the rate, the amount) and the settlement (the settlement, the currency, the amount, the date) are handled, so the currencies are converted and settled (the conversion is the exchange). The Super Administrator configures the conversion and settlement (the from-currency, the to-currency, the rate, the amount) so the handling is structured and the conversion is explicit.

**Sub-features:**
- Currency conversion: the conversion (the conversion, the from-currency, the to-currency, the rate, the amount)
- Settlement: the settlement (the settlement, the currency, the amount, the date)
- Conversion rate: the rate (the rate of the conversion, the exchange rate)
- Conversion configuration: the configuration (the from-currency, the to-currency, the rate, the amount)
- Conversion record: the record (the conversion, the from-currency, the to-currency, the rate, the amount, the date)
- Settlement record: the record (the settlement, the currency, the amount, the date)
- Conversion view: the view (the conversions, the settlements, the period)
- Audit logging of the currency conversion and settlement

**Super Administrator User Journey:**
1. Super Admin configures the conversion and settlement: the conversion (the conversion, the from-currency, the to-currency, the rate, the amount), the settlement (the settlement, the currency, the amount, the date), and the rate (the rate of the conversion, the exchange rate); the handling is explicit.
2. Sets the currency conversion: the conversion (the conversion, the from-currency, the to-currency, the rate, the amount); the conversion is the exchange.
3. Sets the conversion rate: the rate (the rate of the conversion, the exchange rate); the rate is the measure.
4. Sets the settlement: the settlement (the settlement, the currency, the amount, the date); the settlement is the finalization.
5. Saves; the conversion and settlement is live, and the currencies are converted and settled.
6. A transaction is made in a foreign currency; the conversion is applied (the conversion is made, the rate is applied, the amount is converted, the settlement is made); the conversion is recorded.
7. For a conversion change (the rate updated), Super Admin changes the conversion (the new rate, the time); the change is recorded.
8. The currency conversion and settlement are audit-logged with the conversion, the rate, and the timestamp.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The currency conversion is the exchange (the conversion, the from-currency, the to-currency, the rate, the amount); the conversion is the action.
- The settlement is the finalization (the settlement, the currency, the amount, the date); the settlement is the completion.
- The conversion rate is the measure (the rate of the conversion, the exchange rate); the rate is the control.
- A conversion change (the rate updated) is recorded (the new rate, the time); it is auditable.
- The conversions and settlements are visible (the conversions, the settlements, the period); the handling is managed.
- Currency conversion and settlement are audit-logged with the conversion, rate, and timestamp.
