## 5. Commission Tracking

### 5.1 Track Pending, Earned, and Paid Commissions
**What it does:** Tracks the commissions: the commissions of the affiliates (the pending, the earned, the paid) are tracked, so the affiliate earnings are visible (the commissions are recorded per status). The Super Administrator views the commission tracking (the affiliate, the pending, the earned, the paid) so the tracking is structured and the commissions are explicit.

**Sub-features:**
- Commission status: the status (the pending, the earned, the paid)
- Pending commission: the pending (the commission that is not yet earned, e.g., the referral is not confirmed)
- Earned commission: the earned (the commission that is earned, e.g., the referral is confirmed)
- Paid commission: the paid (the commission that is paid, e.g., the payout is made)
- Commission record: the record (the affiliate, the commission, the status, the date)
- Commission view: the view (the commissions per affiliate, per status)
- Audit logging of the commission tracking

**Super Administrator User Journey:**
1. Super Admin views the commission tracking: the affiliates (the name, the commissions), the statuses (the pending, the earned, the paid), and the dates (the date of the commission); the tracking is explicit.
2. Views the pending commissions: the pending (the commission that is not yet earned, e.g., the referral is not confirmed); the pending is the in-progress.
3. Views the earned commissions: the earned (the commission that is earned, e.g., the referral is confirmed); the earned is the confirmed.
4. Views the paid commissions: the paid (the commission that is paid, e.g., the payout is made); the paid is the settled.
5. The commissions are visible: the commissions per affiliate, per status, so the tracking is complete.
6. For an affiliate (a specific affiliate), Super Admin views the affiliate's commissions (the pending, the earned, the paid, the period); the commissions are the detail.
7. Exports the commissions (the commission report, the period); the export is the record.
8. The commission tracking is audit-logged with the affiliate, the commission, and the timestamp.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The commission status is the pending, the earned, or the paid; the status is the control.
- The pending commission is the in-progress (the commission that is not yet earned, e.g., the referral is not confirmed); the pending is the state.
- The earned commission is the confirmed (the commission that is earned, e.g., the referral is confirmed); the earned is the state.
- The paid commission is the settled (the commission that is paid, e.g., the payout is made); the paid is the state.
- The commissions are visible (the commissions per affiliate, per status); the tracking is managed.
- Commission tracking is audit-logged with the affiliate, commission, and timestamp.

### 5.2 Track Subscription Renewals from Referrals
**What it does:** Tracks the subscription renewals from the referrals: the renewals of the referred subscriptions (the renewal, the affiliate, the commission) are tracked, so the renewal commissions are visible (the renewals are recorded). The Super Administrator views the renewal tracking (the affiliate, the referral, the renewal, the commission) so the tracking is structured and the renewals are explicit.
