## 3. Quick Actions & Widgets

### 3.1 Home Screen Widgets
**What it does:** Provides home screen widgets for the Student: daily study goal progress, quick access to the current course, upcoming tests reminder, and a streak counter. The Student adds a widget to the home screen and sees key information at a glance without opening the app.

**Sub-features:**
- Daily study goal progress widget
- Quick access to the current course widget
- Upcoming tests reminder widget
- Streak counter widget
- Add a widget to the home screen
- Widget updates in real time
- Widget event logging (added, viewed)
- Audit logging of the home screen widgets

**Student User Journey:**
1. Student adds the daily study goal widget to the home screen.
2. The widget shows the study goal progress.
3. Student adds the streak counter widget.
4. The upcoming tests reminder widget shows the next test.
5. The widgets update in real time.
6. Student taps a widget to open the app.
7. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the widget events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Widgets are added to the home screen.
- The widgets show study goal, current course, upcoming tests, and streak.
- The widgets update in real time.
- A widget is tappable to open the app.
- Widget events (added, viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 3.2 Voice Commands
**What it does:** Lets the Student use voice commands in the mobile app: "Resume last video", "Start practice quiz", "Show my progress", and voice search for content. The Student speaks a command and the app performs the action. Voice commands make the app hands-free.

**Sub-features:**
- Voice command: "Resume last video"
- Voice command: "Start practice quiz"
- Voice command: "Show my progress"
- Voice search for content
- Voice commands in the mobile app
- Voice command confirmation
- Voice command event logging (issued, executed)
- Audit logging of the voice commands

**Student User Journey:**
1. Student says "Resume last video"; the app resumes the last video.
2. Student says "Start practice quiz"; a quiz starts.
3. Student says "Show my progress"; the progress screen opens.
4. Student uses voice search to find a topic.
5. The app confirms each voice command.
6. The voice commands are available in the mobile app.
7. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the voice command events are recorded.

### 3.3 Quick Actions
**What it does:** Provides quick actions for the Student on the mobile app: one-tap access to common tasks like resuming the last lesson, starting a quiz, or viewing today's plan. The Student configures their quick actions and accesses them from the home screen. This speeds up daily study.

**Sub-features:**
- One-tap quick actions on the mobile app
- Resume the last lesson
- Start a quiz
- View today's plan
- Configure the Student's quick actions
- Quick actions on the home screen
- Quick action event logging (configured, used)
- Audit logging of the quick actions

**Student User Journey:**
1. Student configures their quick actions (Resume lesson, Start quiz).
2. The quick actions appear on the home screen.
3. Student taps "Resume lesson" to continue the last video.
4. Student taps "Start quiz" to begin a practice quiz.
5. Student taps "View today's plan" to see the day's plan.
6. The quick actions are one-tap.
7. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the quick action events are recorded.
