## 1. Child Subscription Management

### 1.1 Purchase a Subscription for the Child
**What it does:** Lets the Parent purchase a subscription for the child: selecting a plan, the subjects, and the duration, then completing the payment. The subscription is applied to the child's account and the child gains access to the selected content. This gives the Parent control over the child's platform access.

**Sub-features:**
- Select a subscription plan
- Select the subjects for the subscription
- Select the subscription duration
- Complete the payment
- Subscription applied to the child's account
- Purchase confirmation to the Parent
- Purchase available on web and mobile
- Purchase event logging (initiated, completed)
- Audit logging of the purchase a subscription for the child

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the subscription section.
2. Parent selects a subscription plan.
3. Parent selects the subjects (Math, Science).
4. Parent selects the duration (one term).
5. Parent completes the payment.
6. The subscription is applied to the child's account.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the purchase events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The subscription is for the child's account.
- The subjects and duration are selectable.
- A purchase confirmation is shown.
- Purchase events (initiated, completed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The purchase a subscription for the child is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 1.2 Add or Remove Subjects
**What it does:** Lets the Parent add or remove subjects from the child's subscription. The Parent selects the subjects to add or remove, and the change is applied to the child's access. The billing is adjusted for the change where applicable. This lets the Parent tailor the child's subscription to their needs.

**Sub-features:**
- Add subjects to the child's subscription
- Remove subjects from the child's subscription
- Change applied to the child's access
- Billing adjusted for the change
- Subject change confirmation
- Subject change history
- Changes available on web and mobile
- Change event logging (added, removed)
- Audit logging of the add or remove subjects

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's subscription subjects.
2. Parent adds a subject (English).
3. Parent removes a subject (History).
4. The change is applied to the child's access.
5. The billing is adjusted for the change.
6. A subject change confirmation is shown.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the change events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The subjects can be added or removed.
- The change is applied to the child's access.

### 1.3 View Subscription Details
**What it does:** Shows the Parent the details of the child's subscription: the plan, the subjects, the start and end dates, the renewal date, and the status. The Parent can see what the child has access to and when it renews or expires. This gives the Parent a clear view of the child's subscription.

**Sub-features:**
- Subscription plan details
- Subjects included in the subscription
- Start and end dates
- Renewal date
- Subscription status (active, expiring, expired)
- Details available on web and mobile
- Detail event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the view subscription details

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's subscription details.
2. The plan details are shown.
3. The subjects included are listed.
4. The start and end dates are shown.
5. The renewal date is shown.
6. The subscription status is shown (active).
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the detail events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The details include plan, subjects, dates, and status.
- The renewal date is shown.
- Detail events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The view subscription details is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.
