### 4.2 Manage and Clear Notifications
**What it does:** Lets the Parent manage their notifications: mark individual notifications as read, mark all as read, and clear the notification center. The Parent can also mute a category temporarily. This gives the Parent control over their notification inbox.

- Management events (marked read, cleared, muted) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The manage and clear notifications is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 4.3 Critical and System Notifications
**What it does:** Delivers critical and system notifications that cannot be muted or suppressed: account security alerts, subscription expiring, and platform maintenance. These notifications are always delivered on all enabled channels and are highlighted in the notification center. This ensures the Parent never misses important information.
