## 4. Upcoming Tests & Deadlines

### 4.1 Upcoming Tests
**What it does:** Shows the Parent the child's upcoming tests: scheduled exams, mock tests, and quizzes with their dates and subjects. The Parent sees how much preparation time the child has and can see the test details. This helps the Parent support the child's exam preparation.

**Sub-features:**
- List of upcoming tests
- Test date and subject
- Test type (exam, mock, quiz)
- Preparation time remaining
- Test detail on tap
- Upcoming tests available on web and mobile
- Test event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the upcoming tests

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's upcoming tests.
2. The upcoming tests are listed with dates and subjects.
3. Each test shows the type (exam, mock, quiz).
4. The preparation time remaining is shown.
5. Parent taps a test for the detail.
6. Parent views the upcoming tests on the mobile app.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the test events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The list shows upcoming tests with dates and subjects.
- The preparation time remaining is shown.
- Test events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The upcoming tests is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 4.2 Deadlines and Assignments
**What it does:** Shows the Parent the child's upcoming deadlines and assignments: due dates for assignments, worksheets, and practice tasks. The Parent sees which deadlines are approaching and which are overdue. This helps the Parent keep the child on track with their work.

**Sub-features:**
- List of upcoming deadlines
- Assignment due dates
- Worksheet due dates
- Approaching deadline indicator
- Overdue deadline indicator
- Deadline detail on tap
- Deadline event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the deadlines and assignments

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's deadlines.
2. The upcoming deadlines are listed with due dates.
3. An approaching deadline indicator is shown.
4. An overdue deadline indicator is shown.
5. Parent taps a deadline for the detail.
6. The deadlines are updated as the child completes tasks.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the deadline events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The list shows upcoming deadlines with due dates.
- An approaching indicator is shown for near deadlines.
- An overdue indicator is shown for missed deadlines.
- Deadline events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The deadlines and assignments is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 4.3 Exam Preparation Status
**What it does:** Shows the Parent the child's preparation status for upcoming exams: the topics covered, the practice completed, and the readiness indicator. The Parent sees how prepared the child is for each exam and can encourage the child where preparation is low. This gives the Parent a clear view of exam readiness.

**Sub-features:**
- Preparation status per upcoming exam
- Topics covered for the exam
- Practice completed for the exam
- Readiness indicator
- Preparation gap (topics not covered)
- Preparation status available on web and mobile
- Preparation event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the exam preparation status

**Parent User Journey:**

2. The preparation status per exam is shown.
3. The topics covered for the exam are listed.
4. The practice completed is shown.
5. The readiness indicator is displayed.
6. A preparation gap (topics not covered) is shown.
