### 4.2 Performance Alerts
**What it does:** Sends the Student alerts when their performance crosses a threshold: a drop in scores, a missed study plan, or a streak at risk. Alerts are actionable and link to the relevant area. The Student can acknowledge an alert and adjust their study.

**Sub-features:**
- Alert on a drop in scores
- Alert on a missed study plan
- Alert on a streak at risk
- Alert links to the relevant area
- Acknowledge an alert
- Alert frequency respects notification preferences
- Alert event logging (sent, acknowledged)

**Student User Journey:**
1. The Student's score drops below the threshold; an alert is sent.
2. Student opens the alert and is linked to the affected subject.
3. Student acknowledges the alert and adjusts their study plan.
4. A streak-at-risk alert is sent when the Student misses a day.
5. A missed-study-plan alert is sent when the Student falls behind.
6. The alert frequency respects the Student's notification preferences.
7. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the alert events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- An alert is sent when performance crosses a configured threshold.
- An alert links to the relevant area (subject, plan, streak).
- An alert can be acknowledged.
- The alert frequency respects the Student's notification preferences.
- Alert events (sent, acknowledged) are logged with the alert and the timestamp.
- The performance alerts is audit-logged with the account, the alert, and the timestamp.

### 4.3 Report Sharing with Parent
**What it does:** Lets the Student share their progress reports and performance summaries with a linked parent. Sharing is controlled by the Student (or the parent, per the platform's rules), and the parent sees the shared reports in their dashboard. This supports the parent-student collaboration.

**Sub-features:**
- Share a report with a linked parent
- Share a performance summary
- Sharing controlled by the Student (or parent, per rules)
- Parent sees shared reports in their dashboard
- Unshare a report
- Share status visible
- Share event logging (shared, unshared)
- Audit logging of the report sharing with parent

**Student User Journey:**
1. Student opens a weekly report and taps "Share with parent".
2. The report is shared; the parent sees it in their dashboard.
3. Student shares a performance summary.
4. Student unshares a report; it is removed from the parent's dashboard.
5. The share status is visible on the report.
6. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the share events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Sharing requires a linked parent account.
- Sharing is controlled by the Student or the parent per the platform's rules.
- A shared report appears in the parent's dashboard.
- Unsharing removes the report from the parent's dashboard.
- Share events (shared, unshared) are logged with the report and the timestamp.
- The report sharing with parent is audit-logged with the account, the report, and the timestamp.
