## 1. Mobile Learning Experience

### 1.1 Mobile-Optimized Video Player
**What it does:** Provides a mobile-optimized video player for the Student. The player auto-adjusts video quality based on network speed, supports manual quality selection, and includes a data usage tracker. The Student can watch lessons smoothly on the mobile app with minimal data.

**Sub-features:**
- Mobile-optimized video player
- Adaptive video quality (auto-adjust based on network speed)
- Manual quality selection
- Data usage tracker
- Playback controls (play, pause, seek, speed)
- Fullscreen and picture-in-picture
- Player event logging (quality changed, data used)
- Audit logging of the mobile-optimized video player

**Student User Journey:**
1. Student opens a lesson video on the mobile app.
2. The player auto-adjusts the quality to the network speed.
3. Student manually selects a lower quality to save data.
4. The data usage tracker shows the data used.
5. Student uses the playback controls (seek, speed).
6. Student switches to fullscreen.
7. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the player events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The player auto-adjusts quality based on network speed.
- The Student can manually select the quality.
- The data usage tracker shows the data used for video.
- The player supports the standard playback controls.
- Player events (quality changed, data used) are logged with the video and the timestamp.
- The mobile-optimized video player is audit-logged with the account, the video, and the timestamp.

### 1.2 Data Saver Mode
**What it does:** Lets the Student enable a data saver mode that reduces data consumption. In data saver mode, video quality is capped, images are loaded at lower resolution, and auto-play is disabled. The Student sees the data saved and can toggle the mode on or off.

- Lower-resolution images in data saver mode

**What it does:** Provides gesture controls for the mobile video player. The Student can swipe to skip forward/backward, double-tap to bookmark, and pinch to zoom on diagrams. Gestures make the player faster to use on a small screen.

- Double-tap to bookmark

- Gesture controls in the mobile video player

**Student User Journey:**
1. Student watches a video on the mobile app.
2. Student swipes right to skip forward.
3. Student double-taps to bookmark a key point.
4. Student pinches to zoom on a diagram.
5. The gestures are enabled by default; the Student can disable them.
6. The bookmark is saved to the Student's bookmarks.
7. Student opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the gesture events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Gestures work in the mobile video player.
- Swipe skips forward/backward by the platform's interval.
- Double-tap bookmarks the current position.
- Pinch zooms on diagrams.
- Gesture events (skipped, bookmarked, zoomed) are logged with the video and the timestamp.
- The gesture controls is audit-logged with the account, the video, and the timestamp.
