### 6.1 Renewal Billing
**What it does:** Handles billing for sponsorship renewals: renewal invoices, tier change pricing, and proration for mid-cycle changes.

**Sub-features:**
- Renewal invoice generation
- Tier change pricing on renewal
- Proration for mid-cycle changes
- Renewal payment tracking
- Renewal billing history
- Renewal Billing available on web and mobile
- renewal billing event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of renewal billing

**Sponsor User Journey:**
1. Sponsor navigates to Renewal Billing.
2. Sponsor reviews the renewal billing details shown.
3. Sponsor performs the primary action for renewal billing.
4. Sponsor confirms the result matches the documented behavior.
5. Sponsor opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Renewal invoice generation.

**What it does:** Summarizes the sponsor's total sponsorship spend by period, sponsorship, and tier, for the sponsor's finance records.

- Spend vs budget comparison
- Spend summary export
- Spend history archive
- Spend Summary available on web and mobile
