## 1. Institute Overview & Key Metrics

### 1.1 License Usage Overview
**What it does:** Shows the Training Institute an overview of license usage: the total licenses purchased, the licenses in use, the licenses available, and the licenses expiring soon. The Institute sees the numbers at a glance and can tap through to the license management. This gives the Institute a real-time view of its license position.

**Sub-features:**
- Total licenses purchased
- Licenses in use
- Licenses available
- Licenses expiring soon
- Usage percentage shown
- Tap through to the license management
- Overview available on web and mobile
- Overview event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the license usage overview

**Training Institute User Journey:**
1. Training Institute opens the institute dashboard.
2. The license usage overview is shown.
3. The total licenses purchased are shown.
4. The licenses in use are shown.
5. The licenses available are shown.
6. The licenses expiring soon are shown.
7. Training Institute opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the overview events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The usage percentage is calculated from in-use over total.
- The expiring soon threshold is configurable.
- Overview events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The license usage overview is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 1.2 Student Enrollment Summary
**What it does:** Shows the Training Institute a summary of student enrollment: the total active students, the new enrollments this period, the students completing courses, and the enrollment trend. The Institute sees the summary and can tap through to the student management. This gives the Institute a view of its student base.

**Sub-features:**
- Total active students
- New enrollments this period
- Students completing courses
- Enrollment trend
- Summary by course
- Tap through to the student management

- Audit logging of the student enrollment summary

**Training Institute User Journey:**

**What it does:** Shows the Training Institute a snapshot of its billing: the current period's charges, the upcoming renewal, the payment method on file, and the recent invoices. The Institute sees the snapshot and can tap through to the billing. This gives the Institute a view of its financial position.

- Current period's charges
- Upcoming renewal shown
- Payment method on file
- Recent invoices
- Snapshot by period
