## 4. SRS Analytics

### 4.1 Retention Statistics
**What it does:** Reports the SRS retention statistics: recall success rate, retention rate over time, and retention by content type and subject.

**Sub-features:**
- Recall success rate (overall, per content type, per subject)
- Retention rate over time (7-day, 30-day, 90-day)
- Retention by grade band
- Retention trend (improving/declining)
- Retention benchmark (target retention rate)
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of retention statistics access

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. Super Admin opens SRS Management → Analytics → Retention.
2. Reviews the recall success rate overall, per content type, and per subject.
3. Tracks the retention rate over time (7-day, 30-day, 90-day) and by grade band.
4. Compares retention against the benchmark and reviews the trend.
5. Each analytics access is event-logged and audit-logged.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A period with no recall data reports zero, not an error.
- The retention benchmark is a target rate; falling below it is flagged for review.
- Analytics access is audit-logged with the actor, the scope, and the timestamp.

### 4.2 Mastery Progression Reports
**What it does:** Reports mastery progression: concepts mastered per period, mastery by subject and grade, and the time-to-mastery per concept.

**Sub-features:**
- Concepts mastered per period (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Mastery by subject and grade band
- Time-to-mastery per concept (first exposure to mastered)
- Mastery distribution (New / Learning / Familiar / Mastered counts)
- Mastery trend (accelerating/stalling)
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of mastery progression access

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. Super Admin opens SRS Management → Analytics → Mastery Progression.
2. Reviews the concepts mastered per period.
3. Reviews mastery by subject and grade band.
4. Reviews the time-to-mastery per concept and the mastery distribution.
5. Tracks the mastery trend (accelerating or stalling).
6. Each analytics access is event-logged and audit-logged.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Time-to-mastery is measured from first exposure to the mastered level; concepts not yet mastered show no time-to-mastery.
- A stalling mastery trend (no new mastered concepts over the period) is flagged for review.
- Analytics access is audit-logged with the actor, the scope, and the timestamp.

### 4.3 SRS Effectiveness Metrics
**What it does:** Reports the SRS effectiveness: the lift in recall vs no-SRS baseline, the review efficiency (reviews per mastered concept), and the interval calibration.

**Sub-features:**
- Recall lift vs baseline (SRS vs non-SRS comparison)
- Review efficiency (reviews per mastered concept)
- Interval calibration (actual vs predicted retention per interval)
- Graduation rate (concepts graduated per period)
- Re-entry rate (graduated concepts re-entering)
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of effectiveness metrics access

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. Super Admin opens SRS Management → Analytics → Effectiveness.
2. Reviews the recall lift vs the non-SRS baseline.
3. Reviews the review efficiency (reviews per mastered concept).
4. Reviews the interval calibration (actual vs predicted retention per interval).
5. Reviews the graduation rate and the re-entry rate.
6. Each analytics access is event-logged and audit-logged.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The recall lift is computed only when a comparable non-SRS baseline exists; otherwise it is not shown.
- A high re-entry rate (graduated concepts frequently re-entering) flags the graduation criteria for review.
- Analytics access is audit-logged with the actor, the scope, and the timestamp.

### 4.4 Student Engagement with SRS
**What it does:** Reports student engagement with the SRS: review completion rate, daily review load adherence, and SRS skip/defer behavior.

**Sub-features:**
- Review completion rate (due reviews completed vs scheduled)
- Daily review load adherence (students meeting their daily load)
- SRS skip/defer behavior (reviews skipped or deferred)
- Engagement by grade band and subject
- Engagement trend (improving/declining)
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of SRS engagement access

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. Super Admin opens SRS Management → Analytics → Engagement.
2. Reviews the review completion rate (due reviews completed vs scheduled).
3. Reviews the daily review load adherence per student cohort.
4. Reviews the SRS skip/defer behavior.
5. Tracks engagement by grade band and subject and the engagement trend.
6. Each analytics access is event-logged and audit-logged.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A student with no due reviews in a period is excluded from the completion rate (not counted as a miss).
- A declining engagement trend is flagged for review.
- Analytics access is audit-logged with the actor, the scope, and the timestamp.
