- Download by type: the downloads broken down by content type
- Download by course: the downloads broken down by course
- Download by institute: the downloads broken down by institute

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the download usage analytics.
2. Review the download volume and breakdowns by type, course, and institute.
3. Check the download trend and top content.
4. Export the report.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A download volume counts completed downloads, not started ones.
- A download by type sums the downloads per content type.
- A download trend is plotted at the selected granularity (daily, weekly, monthly).
- A top content list ranks items by download count.
- A report with no downloads in the period shows zero, not an error.
- Analytics data is aggregated from the download event log.
- Report generation actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 4.2 Offline Engagement Metrics
**What it does:** The Super Admin measures offline engagement so the learning that happens offline is quantified.

**Sub-features:**
- Offline watch time: the total time spent watching offline video
- Offline quiz completion: the offline quizzes completed
- Offline worksheet completion: the offline worksheets completed
- Offline sessions: the number of offline learning sessions
- Offline engagement rate: the share of learning that happens offline
- Offline retention: the retention of learners who use offline features
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of offline engagement metrics

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the offline engagement metrics.
2. Review the offline watch time, quiz, and worksheet completion.
3. Check the offline sessions and engagement rate.
4. Compare the offline retention with online retention.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- An offline watch time is recorded only for offline playback.
- An offline quiz completion is counted when the quiz is synced.
- An offline engagement rate is the offline learning time over total learning time.
- An offline session is a continuous offline learning period.
- An offline retention is the share of offline users still active after the period.
- A metric with no offline activity shows zero, not an error.
- Report generation actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 4.3 Sync Success and Failure Tracking
**What it does:** The Super Admin tracks sync success and failure so the reliability of offline-to-online synchronization is measured.

**Sub-features:**
- Sync success count: the number of successful syncs
- Sync failure count: the number of failed syncs
- Sync failure reasons: the failures broken down by reason
- Sync retry count: the number of retries performed
- Sync success rate: the share of syncs that succeed
- Sync failure trend: the failure trend over time
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of sync success and failure tracking

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the sync success and failure tracking.
2. Review the success and failure counts.
3. Check the failure reasons and retry count.
4. Monitor the success rate and failure trend.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A sync success count includes only completed syncs.
- A sync failure count includes syncs that exhausted retries.
- A sync failure reason is categorized (network, conflict, quota, other).
- A sync retry count sums the retries across all syncs.
- A sync success rate is successes over total sync attempts.
- A failure trend is plotted at the selected granularity.
- Report generation actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 4.4 Storage Usage Monitoring
**What it does:** The Super Admin monitors storage usage so the offline storage consumption across learners is visible.

**Sub-features:**
- Storage per learner: the offline storage used per learner
- Storage by content type: the storage broken down by content type
- Storage quota utilization: the quota utilization per learner
- Storage top consumers: the learners with the highest storage usage
- Storage trend: the storage usage trend over time
- Storage alert: the alert on quota utilization above a threshold
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of storage usage monitoring

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the storage usage monitoring.
2. Review the storage per learner and by content type.
3. Check the quota utilization and top consumers.
4. Monitor the storage trend and configure the storage alert.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A storage per learner sums the downloaded content size.
- A storage quota utilization is the used storage over the quota.
- A storage top consumers list ranks learners by usage.
- A storage trend is plotted at the selected granularity.
- A storage alert is raised when utilization exceeds the threshold.
- A storage alert is raised once per learner per threshold breach.
- Report generation actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 4.5 Offline Feature Adoption Report
**What it does:** The Super Admin generates the offline feature adoption report so the uptake of offline features across the platform is measured.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- An adoption rate counts learners with at least one offline action in the period.
- An adoption by institute sums the adopting learners per institute.
- An adoption by tier sums the adopting learners per subscription tier.
- A feature usage breakdown counts the usage per offline feature.
- An adoption trend is plotted at the selected granularity.
- An adoption export produces a file in the selected format.
- Report generation actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.
