## 2. Career Aptitude Assessment

### 2.1 Assessment Configuration
**What it does:** The Super Admin configures the career aptitude assessment so learners can be evaluated for their career strengths.

**Sub-features:**
- Assessment creation: the creation of an aptitude assessment
- Question bank: the questions in the assessment
- Dimension mapping: the mapping of questions to aptitude dimensions
- Scoring model: the scoring model for the assessment
- Assessment settings: the time limit and attempt rules
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of assessment configuration

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the assessment configuration.
2. Create an assessment and add questions from the bank.
3. Map the questions to aptitude dimensions.
4. Set the scoring model and settings, then save.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- An assessment creation requires a name and at least one question.
- A question bank holds the reusable questions.
- A dimension mapping assigns each question to a dimension.
- A scoring model defines how answers are scored.
- An assessment setting includes the time limit and attempts.
- An assessment with no mapped questions cannot be delivered.
- Configuration changes are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 2.2 Assessment Delivery
**What it does:** The Super Admin manages the delivery of the aptitude assessment so learners can take it under the configured conditions.

**Sub-features:**
- Assignment: the assignment of the assessment to learners
- Delivery window: the window in which the assessment is available
- Attempt tracking: the tracking of learner attempts
- Retake policy: the policy for retaking the assessment
- Delivery status: the status of the delivery
- Available on web

- Audit logging of assessment delivery

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the assessment delivery.
2. Assign the assessment to learners.
3. Set the delivery window and retake policy.
4. Monitor the attempt tracking and delivery status.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- An assignment makes the assessment available to the learners.
- A delivery window limits the availability to a period.
- An attempt tracking records each learner's attempts.
- A retake policy defines whether and how often a learner can retake.
- A delivery status reflects the progress of the delivery.
- An attempt outside the window is blocked.
- Delivery actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 2.3 Aptitude Scoring
**What it does:** The Super Admin reviews the aptitude scoring so the learner's strengths are computed from the assessment.

**Sub-features:**
- Dimension scores: the score per aptitude dimension
- Overall profile: the overall aptitude profile
- Score normalization: the normalization of the scores
- Score thresholds: the thresholds for strength levels
- Score report: the report of the scores
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of aptitude scoring

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the aptitude scoring.
2. Review the dimension scores and overall profile.
3. Set the score thresholds.
4. Generate the score report.

- An overall profile aggregates the dimension scores.

**What it does:** The Super Admin manages the aptitude profile so each learner's career strengths are stored and viewable.

- Profile creation: the creation of a learner's aptitude profile
- Profile dimensions: the dimensions in the profile
- Profile strengths: the top strengths in the profile
- Profile history: the history of the learner's profiles
- Profile sharing: the sharing of the profile with the learner
- Available on web

- Audit logging of aptitude profile

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the aptitude profile.
2. Review the profile dimensions and strengths.
3. Check the profile history.
4. Share the profile with the learner.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A profile creation is triggered by a completed assessment.
- A profile dimension lists the score per dimension.
- A profile strength highlights the top dimensions.
- A profile history stores previous profiles.
- A profile sharing makes the profile visible to the learner.
- A profile with no completed assessment is not created.
- Profile actions are audit-logged with the actor and timestamp.

### 2.5 Assessment Analytics
**What it does:** The Super Admin reviews the analytics of the aptitude assessment so the assessment's reach and outcomes are measured.

**Sub-features:**
- Completion rate: the rate of learners completing the assessment
- Dimension distribution: the distribution of scores per dimension
- Strength trends: the trends in learner strengths
- Per-institute breakdown: the analytics per institute
- Available on web
- Event logging (action performed)
- Audit logging of assessment analytics

**Super Admin User Journey:**
1. As a Super Admin, open the assessment analytics.
2. Review the completion rate and dimension distribution.
3. Check the strength trends and per-institute breakdown.
4. Export the report.

- A completion rate is the completions over the assignments.
- A dimension distribution shows the spread of scores per dimension.
- A strength trend shows the change in strengths over time.
- A per-institute breakdown separates the analytics by institute.
- A report is exportable in CSV.
