### 2.1 Strengths and Weaknesses Analysis
**What it does:** Analyzes the child's performance to identify strengths and weaknesses across subjects and topics. The Parent sees a clear breakdown of where the child excels and where they need focus, with recommendations. This helps the Parent and the child prioritize study efforts.

**Sub-features:**
- Strengths and weaknesses across subjects
- Topic-level strength/weakness breakdown
- Recommendations to improve weak areas
- Trend of strengths/weaknesses over time
- Analysis available on web and mobile
- Analysis event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the strengths and weaknesses analysis

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's strengths and weaknesses analysis.
2. The strengths and weaknesses across subjects are shown.
3. The topic-level breakdown is displayed.
4. Recommendations to improve weak areas are shown.
5. The trend over time is displayed.
6. Parent views the analysis on the mobile app.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the analysis events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The analysis is based on the child's performance data.
- The breakdown is at the subject and topic level.
- Recommendations target the weak areas.
- Analysis events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The strengths and weaknesses analysis is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 2.2 Grade-Level Benchmark Comparison
**What it does:** Compares the child's performance with grade-level benchmarks. The Parent sees how the child's scores compare to the average for their grade, by subject. This provides context for the child's performance and helps the Parent set realistic expectations.

- Comparison with grade-level benchmarks
- Benchmark by subject
- Child's percentile vs grade average
- Above/below benchmark indicator
- Benchmark period selection
- Benchmark available on web and mobile
- Benchmark event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the grade-level benchmark comparison

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's benchmark comparison.
2. The comparison with grade-level benchmarks is shown.
3. The benchmark by subject is displayed.
4. The child's percentile vs grade average is shown.
5. An above/below benchmark indicator is shown.
6. Parent selects a period for the benchmark.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the benchmark events are recorded.

**What it does:** Provides insights into the child's learning patterns: peak performance times, best study days, and how the child performs under different conditions. The Parent sees when the child learns best and can help structure the child's study schedule around these patterns.
