## 1. Real-Time Activity Monitoring

### 1.1 Real-Time Learning Activity
**What it does:** Shows the Parent the child's real-time learning activity. The Parent sees what the child is currently doing on the platform: the course or topic being studied, the activity type (video, quiz, flashcards), and the start time. This gives the Parent a live view of the child's study session.

**Sub-features:**
- Real-time view of the child's current activity
- Current course/topic being studied
- Activity type (video, quiz, flashcards)
- Activity start time
- Live status (active, idle)
- Real-time view available on web and mobile
- Activity event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the real-time learning activity

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's monitoring dashboard.
2. The child's current activity is shown (watching a video on Algebra).
3. The activity type and start time are shown.
4. The live status (active) is shown.
5. Parent views the real-time activity on the mobile app.
6. The activity updates as the child studies.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the activity events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The real-time view shows the child's current activity.
- The activity type and start time are shown.
- The live status is active or idle.
- Activity events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The real-time learning activity is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 1.2 Activity Feed
**What it does:** Provides the Parent with a feed of the child's recent learning activities: videos watched, quizzes taken, flashcards studied, and sessions completed. The feed is in reverse chronological order and the Parent can filter by activity type and date. This gives the Parent a timeline of the child's study.

**Sub-features:**
- Feed of the child's recent activities
- Activity types (video, quiz, flashcards, session)
- Reverse chronological order
- Filter by activity type and date
- Activity detail on tap
- Feed available on web and mobile
- Feed event logging (viewed, filtered)
- Audit logging of the activity feed

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's activity feed.
2. The recent activities are listed newest first.
3. Each activity shows the type and time.
4. Parent filters to quizzes from this week.
5. Parent taps an activity for the detail.
6. Parent views the feed on the mobile app.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the feed events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The feed is in reverse chronological order.
- Filters operate on activity type and date.
- An activity detail opens on tap.
- Feed events (viewed, filtered) are logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 1.3 Current Session Details
**What it does:** Shows the Parent the details of the child's current study session: the session start time, the activities within the session, and the elapsed time. The Parent can see how long the child has been studying and what they have covered. This gives the Parent insight into the child's current focus.

- Elapsed session time
- Session topics covered
- Session live status
- Session details available on web and mobile

- Audit logging of the current session details

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's current session.
