## 2. Progress & Time Tracking

### 2.1 Course Progress and Completion
**What it does:** Shows the Parent the child's course progress and completion rates. The Parent sees each enrolled course with the percentage completed, the lessons finished, and the overall completion rate. This helps the Parent track how far the child has gotten through their courses.

**Sub-features:**
- Course progress per enrolled course
- Percentage completed per course
- Lessons finished per course
- Overall completion rate
- Progress by subject
- Progress available on web and mobile
- Progress event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the course progress and completion

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's progress section.
2. Each enrolled course shows the percentage completed.
3. The lessons finished per course are shown.
4. The overall completion rate is shown.
5. The progress by subject is displayed.
6. Parent views the progress on the mobile app.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the progress events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The progress is per enrolled course.
- The completion rate is a percentage.
- Progress events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The course progress and completion is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 2.2 Time Spent Tracking
**What it does:** Tracks the time the child spends on the platform, daily and weekly. The Parent sees the time spent per day and per week, broken down by subject and activity type. This helps the Parent understand the child's study habits and time allocation.

**Sub-features:**
- Time spent per day
- Time spent per week
- Time breakdown by subject
- Time breakdown by activity type
- Time trend over time
- Time tracking available on web and mobile
- Time event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the time spent tracking

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's time tracking.
2. The time spent per day is shown.
3. The time spent per week is shown.
4. The breakdown by subject is displayed.
5. The breakdown by activity type is displayed.
6. The time trend over time is shown.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the time events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The time is tracked daily and weekly.
- The breakdown is by subject and activity type.
- Time events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The time spent tracking is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 2.3 Study Streak and Consistency
**What it does:** Shows the Parent the child's study streak and consistency. The Parent sees the current streak (consecutive days of study), the longest streak, and a consistency indicator. This helps the Parent encourage the child's regular study habit.

**Sub-features:**
- Current study streak (consecutive days)
- Longest study streak
- Consistency indicator
- Streak history
- Streak at-risk indicator
- Streak available on web and mobile
- Streak event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the study streak and consistency

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the child's streak section.
2. The current study streak is shown (5 days).
3. The longest streak is shown.
4. The consistency indicator is displayed.
5. The streak history is shown.
6. A streak at-risk indicator is shown when the streak is in danger.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the streak events are recorded.

- The streak is consecutive days of study.
