## 8. Alerts

### 8.1 Compliance Alerts
**What it does:** Notifies the organization about compliance events: overdue mandatory training, expiring certifications, and compliance rate drops below thresholds.

**Sub-features:**
- Overdue mandatory training alerts
- Expiring certification alerts
- Compliance rate threshold alerts
- Alert history
- Alert recipient management
- Compliance Alerts available on web and mobile
- compliance alerts event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of compliance alerts

**Organization User Journey:**
1. Organization navigates to Compliance Alerts.
2. Organization reviews the compliance alerts details shown.
3. Organization performs the primary action for compliance alerts.
4. Organization confirms the result matches the documented behavior.
5. Organization opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Overdue mandatory training alerts.

### 8.2 Program & Deadline Reminders
**What it does:** Sends program update and deadline reminders: program milestones, assessment deadlines, and program end reminders, to admins and users.

- Program & Deadline Reminders available on web and mobile
