## 4. Path Analytics & Reporting

### 4.1 Path Completion Analytics
**What it does:** Shows the Training Institute the completion analytics for its learning paths: the completion rate per path, the average time to complete, the drop-off points, and the completion trend over time. The Institute sees which paths perform well and where students drop off. This measures path effectiveness.

**Sub-features:**
- Completion rate per path
- Average time to complete
- Drop-off points shown
- Completion trend over time
- Path ranking by completion
- Analytics available on web and mobile
- Analytics event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the path completion analytics

**Training Institute User Journey:**
1. Training Institute opens the path completion analytics.
2. The completion rate per path is shown.
3. The average time to complete is shown.
4. The drop-off points are shown.
5. The completion trend over time is shown.
6. The path ranking by completion is shown.
7. Training Institute opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the analytics events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- A drop-off point is the step with the highest abandonment.
- The trend is shown over the selected period.
- Analytics events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The path completion analytics is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 4.2 Path Performance Report
**What it does:** Lets the Training Institute generate a performance report for a learning path: the Institute selects the path and the period, and the report shows the enrolled students, the completions, the average scores, and the step-level performance. The report can be exported. This summarizes path performance.

**Sub-features:**
- Path performance report
- Select path and period
- Enrolled students shown
- Completions shown
- Average scores shown
- Step-level performance
- Export the report
- Report available on web and mobile
- Report event logging (generated, exported)
- Audit logging of the path performance report

**Training Institute User Journey:**
1. Training Institute opens the path performance report.
2. Training Institute selects the path and the period.
3. The enrolled students are shown.
4. The completions are shown.
5. The average scores are shown.
6. The step-level performance is shown.
7. Training Institute opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the report events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The report is scoped to the selected path and period.
- The export is available in the standard formats.
- Report events (generated, exported) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The path performance report is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 4.3 Path Comparison
**What it does:** Lets the Training Institute compare learning paths against each other: the Institute selects two or more paths, and the comparison shows the completion rates, the average times, the engagement, and the outcomes side by side. The Institute can export the comparison. This supports path improvement decisions.

**Sub-features:**
- Compare two or more paths
- Completion rates side by side
- Average times side by side
- Engagement side by side
- Outcomes side by side
- Export the comparison
- Comparison available on web and mobile
- Comparison event logging (generated, exported)
- Audit logging of the path comparison

**Training Institute User Journey:**
1. Training Institute opens the path comparison.
2. Training Institute selects two or more paths.
3. The completion rates are shown side by side.
4. The average times are shown side by side.
5. The engagement is shown side by side.
6. The outcomes are shown side by side.
7. Training Institute opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the comparison events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The comparison is limited to the paths the Institute owns.
- The export is available in the standard formats.
- Comparison events (generated, exported) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The path comparison is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.
