## 3. Branding & Duration

### 3.1 Branding Placement
**What it does:** Manages where the sponsor's brand appears: course pages, content players, certificates, and landing pages, with placement approval and live status.

**Sub-features:**
- Placement locations: course pages, content players, certificates, landing pages
- Placement approval workflow
- Live placement status
- Placement preview before go-live
- Placement removal on expiry
- Branding Placement available on web and mobile
- branding placement event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of branding placement

**Sponsor User Journey:**
1. Sponsor navigates to Branding Placement.
2. Sponsor reviews the branding placement details shown.
3. Sponsor performs the primary action for branding placement.
4. Sponsor confirms the result matches the documented behavior.
5. Sponsor opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Placement locations: course pages, content players, certificates, landing pages.
- Placement approval workflow.
- Live placement status.

**What it does:** Manages the sponsorship timeline: start and end dates, auto-renewal settings, and renewal offers before expiry.

- Renewal offer before expiry
- Renewal with tier change
- Sponsorship expiry and wind-down
- Sponsorship Duration & Renewal available on web and mobile
