## 2. Sponsored Items Overview

### 2.1 Sponsored Items Summary
**What it does:** Shows the sponsor a summary of everything they sponsor: courses, content, and students, with status (active, upcoming, expired) and spend. This is the first thing the sponsor sees on login.

**Sub-features:**
- Total sponsored items count
- Active, upcoming, and expired sponsorship counts
- Sponsored courses, content, and students breakdown
- Total sponsorship spend
- Quick link to each sponsorship's detail page
- Sponsored Items Summary available on web and mobile
- sponsored items summary event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of sponsored items summary

**Sponsor User Journey:**
1. Sponsor navigates to Sponsored Items Summary.
2. Sponsor reviews the sponsored items summary details shown.
3. Sponsor performs the primary action for sponsored items summary.
4. Sponsor confirms the result matches the documented behavior.
5. Sponsor opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the events are recorded.

**What it does:** Shows the health of each sponsorship: duration progress, visibility performance, and renewal status, with indicators (performing well, underperforming, expiring soon).
