## 2. Collaborative Tracking & Milestones

### 2.1 Shared Progress View
**What it does:** Provides the Parent and the child with a shared view of the child's progress: the courses completed, the scores, and the time spent. Both the Parent and the child see the same progress data, and the Parent can add encouraging notes. This creates a shared understanding of the child's journey.

**Sub-features:**
- Shared view of the child's progress
- Courses completed and scores
- Time spent on learning
- Parent can add encouraging notes
- Progress visible to both Parent and child
- Shared view available on web and mobile
- View event logging (viewed, noted)
- Audit logging of the shared progress view

**Parent User Journey:**
1. Parent opens the shared progress view.
2. The child's progress is shown (courses, scores, time).
3. Parent adds an encouraging note.
4. The progress is visible to both the Parent and the child.
5. The child sees the Parent's note.
6. Parent views the shared view on the mobile app.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the view events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The progress is shared between the Parent and the child.
- The Parent can add encouraging notes.
- The progress is visible to both.
- View events (viewed, noted) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The shared progress view is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 2.2 Milestone Tracking
**What it does:** Tracks the child's learning milestones: course completions, score thresholds, and streak achievements. The Parent and the child see the milestones reached and the next milestones to aim for. This gives both a sense of the child's progress in meaningful steps.

**Sub-features:**
- Milestone types (completion, score, streak)
- Milestones reached
- Next milestones to aim for
- Milestone progress indicator
- Milestone history
- Milestones visible to both Parent and child

- Audit logging of the milestone tracking

5. The milestone history is displayed.
6. The milestones are visible to both the Parent and the child.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the milestone events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**

- The milestones reached and upcoming are shown.
- The milestones are visible to both the Parent and the child.
- Milestone events (reached) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The milestone tracking is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 2.3 Study Check-ins
**What it does:** Lets the Parent and the child do regular study check-ins: a short, structured conversation about the child's study, challenges, and plans. The check-in is scheduled or ad-hoc, and the notes are saved. This supports ongoing, positive communication between the Parent and the child about learning.

**Sub-features:**

- Check-in topics (study, challenges, plans)

4. The check-in appears in the check-in history.
5. The check-in is visible to both the Parent and the child.
6. Parent does an ad-hoc check-in.
7. Parent opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the check-in events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
