## 5.2 Completion Rates

### 5.2.1 Course Completion Rates
**What it does:** Shows the completion rate per course: enrolled vs completed, so the admin sees which courses the workforce actually finishes.

**Sub-features:**
- Enrolled vs completed per course
- Completion rate percentage
- Drop-off point per course
- Sort by completion rate
- Available on web and mobile
- Event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the course completion rates

**Corporate User Journey:**
1. The admin opens Performance & Reporting → Completion Rates.
2. Each course shows enrolled and completed counts.
3. The completion rate percentage is shown.
4. The drop-off point is shown.
5. The admin sorts by completion rate.
6. The admin opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Completion rate = completed / enrolled × 100.
- Events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The course completion rates are audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 5.2.2 Department Completion Rates
**What it does:** Aggregates completion rates by department, so the admin can compare how each team finishes what it is assigned.

**Sub-features:**
- Completion rate per department
- Assigned vs completed per department
- Department ranking
- Drill-down to the department's courses
- Available on web and mobile
- Event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the department completion rates

**Corporate User Journey:**
1. The admin opens Completion Rates → By Department.
2. Each department shows its completion rate.
3. Assigned vs completed counts are shown.
4. Departments are ranked.
5. The admin drills down to a department's courses.
6. The admin opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Departments with no assignments are excluded.
- Events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The department completion rates is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 5.2.3 Trend Over Time
**What it does:** Charts completion rates over time (weekly or monthly) for the organization, a department, or a course, to show whether learning is improving.

**Sub-features:**
- Weekly / monthly trend selector
- Scope: organization, department, or course
- Trend chart with period comparison
- Export the trend to CSV
- Available on web and mobile
- Event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the trend over time

**Corporate User Journey:**
1. The admin opens Completion Rates → Trend.
2. The admin selects monthly and scopes to the organization.
3. The trend chart is displayed.
4. The admin compares against the previous period.
5. The admin exports the trend to CSV.
6. The admin opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- Trend data is available for the last 24 months.
- Events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The trend over time is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.
