## 4. Performance Leaderboard & Conversion Tracking

### 4.1 Performance Leaderboard
**What it does:** Shows the Affiliate their position on the performance leaderboard: their rank among all Affiliates, based on referrals, conversions, or commission. The Affiliate sees the top performers and their own standing. This motivates the Affiliate and adds a competitive element.

**Sub-features:**
- Affiliate's rank on the leaderboard
- Leaderboard by referrals
- Leaderboard by conversions
- Leaderboard by commission
- Top performers list
- Leaderboard period selection
- Leaderboard available on web and mobile
- Leaderboard event logging (viewed)
- Audit logging of the performance leaderboard

**Affiliate User Journey:**
1. Affiliate opens the leaderboard.
2. The Affiliate's rank is shown.
3. The leaderboard by referrals is shown.
4. The leaderboard by conversions is shown.
5. The leaderboard by commission is shown.
6. The top performers are listed.
7. Affiliate opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the leaderboard events are recorded.

**Rules & Edge Cases:**
- The leaderboard ranks by referrals, conversions, or commission.
- The period can be selected.
- Leaderboard events (viewed) are logged with the account and the timestamp.
- The performance leaderboard is audit-logged with the account and the timestamp.

### 4.2 Conversion Tracking
**What it does:** Tracks the Affiliate's conversions in detail: which referred visitors signed up, which purchased, and the conversion rate per channel and campaign. The Affiliate sees the full journey from click to purchase. This gives the Affiliate deep insight into what works.

**Affiliate User Journey:**
1. Affiliate opens the conversion tracking.
2. The overall conversion rate is shown.
3. The conversions per channel are shown.
4. The conversions per campaign are shown.
5. The click-to-signup tracking is shown.
6. The signup-to-purchase tracking is shown.
7. Affiliate opens Profile → "Activity" and confirms the tracking events are recorded.

### 4.3 Campaign Performance Report
**What it does:** Shows the Affiliate a performance report for each of their campaigns: the clicks, sign-ups, purchases, and commission generated. The Affiliate can compare campaigns and see which are most effective. The report can be downloaded. This helps the Affiliate plan future campaigns.

- Performance per campaign
